Grass Roof Sheds

This extraordinary shed features a sod roof and is built with all modern green roofing products. We can install a shed on your property anywhere in the greater Western Washington area. Custom design allows the roof system to drain and grow in almost any weather conditions - perfect for the Pacific Northwest. The green roof is rye grass sod with a fescue over-seed and is comprised of multiple layers to encourage growth and stability.

The cabin is made of high quality cedar for the trim and log cabin douglas fir on three sides and all wood is coated with an excellent stain to lock in and preserve the natural beauty of the wood. The door is made of knotty alder (not shown above) and gives the shed a gorgeous look when combined with all the local wood products. We make these sheds in 8'x6' and 8'x8' Scandinavian styles. Expect one day of ground preparation to install the shed (we take care of that). Shed prices are $3,595 for the 8'x6' and $3,795 for the 8'x8'.
