ORDERING
If you have questions or would like to place an order the quickest way to reach us is via email at info@seattle-cedar.com. Alternatively you can give us a call at 206.268.0584 and if we don't pickup we will do our best to return your call within 1 business day. Please note, we are not open on the weekend and calls left on Friday may not be returned until the following Monday.

HOURS
If you call our office we are often at work, but please leave us a message if we are not near the phone. We are available via email at many hours, sometimes even after 10pm!

SHOWROOM
We would love to have a showroom, but it just costs too much with rent, employees, insurance, you get the picture. We save money by not having a physical store and pass the savings on to you!

SHIPPING
Shipping within King County is FREE! At this time we are unable to ship outside of Western Washington and northern Oregon (we occasionally get down to the greater Portland area). Because we do not have a showroom, it is not possible for customers to pick up orders in person. However, on occasion we have been able to work out a dropoff/pickup within King County depending on where you are coming from.

Yes! We can do custom work for you, send us a picture or describe what you want over email and we can get you a free quote. We would love to assist you with your project!

STAINING
All of our products ship pre-stained with a PENOFIN - RED LABEL - 99% UV - Transparent Western Red Cedar. This Brazilian Rosewood oil helps protect the cedar, smooth out some of the rough edges and provide protection against the harsh Pacific Northwest elements. If you would like to reapply this stain after a year or two, the best place to find Penofin oil is at Dunn Lumber. Do not attempt to put a second coat of finish right after purchasing our products (or within first 3-4 months), it will result in an adhesive layering and the finish will blister, gum up or start peeling off.

PLANTERS
Our planters do not come with holes drilled in the bottom for drainage. If you would like 2 to 4 one inch holes drilled in the bottom of your planter, please let us know and we can add that for a $10 charge. Also we do not put any linings in our planters, you can add that when we deliver it to your house.

PICNIC TABLES
We often get requests for center holes in our picnic tables so customers can insert an umbrella (very handy for the NW). We can add a 3/4" center hole (or whatever size you want) for $10.

Durability
Cedar is an excellent outdoor wood. It is naturally rot and insect resistant. Most of our products come pre-finished with a clear protectant for extra durability.

Everything we sell is handmade in Washington. Hidden screws and beveled edges are just two examples of the fine detailing that goes into all of our products.
